There is a Disturbance in the Farce: A Chad & Ronnie Crisis Tie-in.

Somewhere in the continental US, there standing on the side of the road are two men. One is a slightly disheveled man who is carrying an Accordion. Next to him is a man dressed in two colors, Red & Yellow. On the man's shoulder is a hamster who is eating a jelly bean. They, except the hamster, are starring at a Billboard.

"So, what do you think ?" said the taller of the 2 men. The other whispers his answer into the first's ear.

"Yes. I did notice that. It does say: I'm a pepper, your a pepper, wouldn't you like to be a Dr. Pepper, too. But, what do you think It means ?"

For these are what some would think are the masters of the universe, too some they are just 2 men wasting their lives away. They are Ronald Arnold Gerrimoto Beeslyhuxtoy & his associate is Chadwick L. Swiss. Causally, they are known as Chad & Ronnie. The third member of their party is known as Little Cat. As Chad & Ronnie continue to ponder the cosmic importance of the Dr. Pepper billboard, they don't really notice the sky has turned to a darker shade of red. Chad leans over & whispers something into Ronnie's ear.

"Ok. So, you think that this Dr. Pepper is really not a person but more a metaphor for our lives."

Chad shakes his head yes.

"Ah! Now it all makes sense. Let's find another one of these & find out that it says!"

Chad & Ronnie turn to their left & start walking. They continue their trip to somewhere. When they started their trip, they had to no planned end point. They just felt that Parodipolis was getting boring, so they left. There was party after they left the city. As duo walks down the road, Chad plays a song on his Accordion. As they walk, they might do a little dance. They like dancing!

Meanwhile in a hexagonal spaceship at a crossroads of time & space, there sits The Lurker. He sits on a metallic chair & stairs at a wall of screens. Each screen shows a different location in a different dimension. Some screens have gone black, since those dimensions no longer exists. Leeta Trainor, The Lurker's Assistant & is also known as Humdinger, walks up to the rapidly aging man.

"Master?"

"Yes, Leeta."

"I understand why you monitor these dimension, but some of what you monitor puzzles me."

"What puzzles you, my child?"

"Many things. But, for starters: Why do you watch these people on the this screen. There are many more interesting people from that Dimension to monitor. " Humdinger says & points to a screen in the upper left hand corner.

"A dimension ruled over by Dinosaurs does have it place in the grand plan of things."

"No, Master. Not that one. But, the one next to it."

The Lurker presses a few buttons. The screen Humdinger has pointed out, it's fed is enlarged to show it on all the screens. The, now large, screen shows two young men traveling down a road in the middle of nowhere. They dance every so offen.

"Master, why do you watch these men? I see no merit in them."

"These two men do have merit & they will prove to be invaluable during the oncoming crisis."

"They have no powers, other then the power to annoy."

The Lurker laughs at Humdinger comment a bit. Then says "They are more powerful then you know. Much like the one known as Visionary, they are place holders in the cosmic fabric of the Parodyverse. They keep Chaos & Order in balance."

"So, the one with the Accordion is Order & the other is Chaos?"

"Yes, I never noticed that before but their outer appearance does reveal their inner worth. The duo known as Chad & Ronnie are much like Myself & The Narrator: Two sides of the same coin."

"But, did not The Narrator want to kill you & take over the universe to make it in his own image?"

"Yes, sadly he did. But, that was before I purged the evil taint that was placed within him by the Cowled Criminal. The duo we speak of has a better relationship then mine & now former my dark side."

"But, why do they annoy so many of the people they come in contact with?"

"The Ability you speak of is a fail safe in their make up. For if they did not push others away, their cosmic significance make become null & void. This would throw the multiverse into it's death throws which we all now is bad."

"Didn't one have a relationship with a female?"

"Yes. The one known as Ronnie did, but she end relations with him. It is for the best that they are apart."

"Does the Hamster or the Accordion play a part anything?"

"Yes. Everything is as it is for a reason."

There was a period of silence as they watch Chad & Ronnie being attached by a flock of vultures.

"Are you going to tell me why?"

"You in part know why but everything will be revealed to you in time."

"Yes, Master." Leeta said & went off to see how the man she loves, Access, is.

After she has left, The Lurker pulls out a bag of Popcorn. He turns up the volume so he can hear the Duo speak.

"Were not food, you Buzzard!" Ronnie yelled as he tries to bat away a Bird. Chad is busy hitting the Birds with his Accordion. Little Cat has retreated to Ronnie's coat pocket.

The Lurker eats a hand full of popcorn & laughs at the Duo. He justifies watching them because they have importance. But, mostly he watches them just for the comedy that is their lives.
